This page is dedicated to Koi & Goldfish Rescue. Since 2014, we have rescued, quarantined, and rehomed over thousands of koi and goldfishes throughout California. 

Before we can carefully initiate a rescue, we need to know about your pond. Please fill out the form to your best ability to help your rescue team understand and better gear up for your rescue plan.

SFA Koi & Rescue is currently working with California locations only. If you have a large pond with over 100 large fishes, call us and we can arrange someone to help you out of state.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: 
*FEES*
- SFA Rescue does NOT charge a fee to come rescue your fishes. If a staff demands payment, please reach out to customer service. 

- SFA Rescue will sometimes pay you a small sum for your fishes, on a case by case. By default, there are NO rescuers that will pay to come rescue your fishes.  Most rescuers will charge a fee for their team to come rescue your fishes. We are different. 

- SFA does not generally pay owners for our teams to come rescue your fishes. This is a rescue. Not a buying fish deal. Rescuing Koi & Goldfishes cost a lot of money. We have to travel, harvest, quarantine, pay bills, feed, and hold until it is rehomed.

*POND*
- Many ponds have plants. SFA is not responsible for your plants should our teams have caused damage to your plants, decors, pond liners, structures, or etc. 

- SFA team may, drain the pond to have easier access to obtain the fishes. The owners may need to refill at their own time.

- It is stressful to all fishes and plants in a pond that is being harvested. Any stressed or injured fishes and plants after the harvest is out of SFA responsibility and liability.
